PAN-AFRICAN LEADERSHIP AWARDS (PALA)
The award climaxes the Change Africa Conference in Dubai from 15th – 19th November, 2022. It is a platform to recognise and appreciate the selfless, extraordinary and diligent work, impact or leadership of young Africans worldwide.
The award brings all nominees together on one platform to be inducted into the Hall of African Leadership Fame. After all, nominees are being inducted. They are charged with the responsibility of being more impactful than before. Names, photos and other details of the inductees are being published in major magazines and platforms with patronage in Africa and beyond.
Also, awards would be given to the most distinguished inductees or nominees within each category. Specially designed plaques would be awarded to award winners for being the most outstanding in the various categories.
OBJECTIVES OF AWARDS SCHEME
The objectives of the awards are as follows:
- To recognize young Africans who work hard and are distinguishing in their various endeavours
- To encourage young Africans to keep working hard and be responsible in their various endeavours
- To show appreciation for the impact they make in their societies
- To instill the discipline of independence in the next leadership of Africa and reduce their over-reliance on the government
- To encourage young Africans worldwide to be change makers and channel their work to Africa for impact
- To bring like-minded young African leaders together from within Africa and beyond to come out with realistic and practical solutions for implementation.
