- By doing something impactful or significant in your space that has a direct benefit on Africa or promotes a positive image of the continent
- By utilizing internet space positively to publicize or market your work
- By being honest and showing integrity in your course of work
- By striving to achieve or make an impact
- By working or making an impact in any of the Eighteen (18) award categories above
